Happy Birthday Pavel
31 March 1995.
Pavel celebrated his 24th birthday with his 250th NHL game versus Anaheim. Prior to the game, Gino Odjick gave Pavel a hand-carved Native prayer stick, and the team gave him an 'A' on his jersey for the game. The regular Assistant Captain did not play, which left the vacancy. Pavel responded with a goal in the 6-1 victory. Pavel's parents presented him with a men's turn-of-the-century Pavel Bure watch for his birthday.
