He now has 12 goals in his last 9 games and after missing eight games with groin injury, suffering from flu for three weeks and playing with a different centerman almost every night for a month, Bur eis now on track for a 55 goal season.
His hat trick against Edmonton was his first four point game of the season, the third hat trick of his career and first since Nov 1, 1993 versus Flames. Pavel then picked up three assists the very next night against St. Louis to give him a two game toatl of seven points.
The last time Pavel was this hot was when he picked up 10 points in five games prior to his groin injury earlier this season.
Pavel really enjoys skating with his new linemates Jimmy Carson and Martin Gelinas and including three assists he picked up in a 3-3 tie with St. Louis, now leads the Canucks in scoring at 27-26-53.
