  • Alex Mogilny, on being reunited with Pavel Bure; "You never know, playing with Pavel, I could score 100 goals".

  • This year, with the introduction of NHL's Centre Ice television package, the NHL has expanded its roster of games available direct-to-home. PrimeStar and DirectTV, through an agreement with the NHL will provide more than 700 games to subscribers.

  • One of the most popular new TV shows in North America is called the 'X-Files'. In their fan club newsletter, Location Manager, Louise Gradnitzer writes, "Oh, we shot in Pavel Bure's house, which he was about to buy, -- the sale was supposed to go through in three days. So, he's driving by to look at his soon-to-be-house, and there's film crew running about in it. Everybody was just thrilled to bits to have him, another celebrity on the set".

  • Sports Illustrated recently issued a special insert booklet 'Future Legends -- the 20 Brightest Stars in Sports'.

    The second star, in a two page article that contained a photo of him playing in last-season's play-off series against St.Louis was none other than ... Pavel Bure

  • After wanting to purchase a personal computer for the past couple of years, Pavel finally arrived home recently with his own portable PC. He bought Geoff Courtnall's laptop just before Geoff moved to St.Louis. This 486 PC will allow Pavel to access Internet, and hence read Moscow newspapers daily, even when he is on the road.
