Pavel Gossip Line
Summarized from PBFC newsletter
- Russian Orthodox Easter fell on the night of 22nd April 1995. After playing against the Edmonton Oilers (and registering four assists), Pavel accompanied hi sparents to a midnight Easter service at one of Vancouver's Russian Orthodox churches.
- Pavel has chosen sunny Southern California for his summer residence for the past two summers for two main reasons.
- His agent is in Los Angeles, and they had a lot to discuss prior to Pavel agreeing to the terms of his new contract.
The second main reason is primarily due to his off-season training requirements. The Ideal weather and the general obscurity from fans allows Pavel greater freedom to pursue his rigid off-season training programme uninterupted.
- For this year, Pavel has not yet decided where to spend his summer, although he is leaning toward spending it in Moscow where he has recently purchased a three bedroom apartment in the downtown core.
The plan is that his dad and his brother Valeri stay there as well, allowing them to train together during the summer break.
- The 1995 'Black & Lee' catalogue of formal wear features a host of different models, with Pavel on the cover.
